Laura Cardamone  is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) and is a member is good standing with the National Association of Social Workers.  Laura is a graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work and Master of Social Work.  She began her career as a Victim Advocate for Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office. During her time there she was fortunate to initiate standards for law enforcement in domestic violence offenses and began the Child Advocacy Center in Macomb County currently called Care House.  Laura has worked in a variety of settings in the social work field but has found her true passion in helping other achieve their goals in the private practice setting. Laura’s focus has included working with individuals struggling with life transitions, anxiety, relationship issues, and parenting concerns/problems, Laura started and has facilitated the Macomb Batterers Intervention Program since 2005. She has received specialized training in domestic violence and cooperative parenting.  

Additionally, Laura serves as a Field Instructor for Bachelor and Master level students through Wayne State University and is proud to have to served as a Trustee for Clinton Township and as a Board Member for the Chippewa Valley Schools.

Molly Bugamelli is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with a certification in School Social Work. She holds a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University with a specialization in clinical practice, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from Michigan State University. Understanding the situational, cultural, and family circumstances that bring the client into the office, whether it be a struggling young person, worried parent, frustrated partner, or transitioning senior, is a hallmark of her work. That work may involve individual, family, or couples sessions; each client is different and each story is unique. These personal stories lend a dynamic focus to sessions which may include grief work, cognitive restructuring, psychodynamic exploration, wellness guidance and reflective listening to support growth and change. Molly believes there is a natural tendency towards psychological and emotional healing within each of us that benefits from a trusting relationship and a safe, nurturing space to support that process leading to greater satisfaction, peace, and joy.

Molly brings her twenty years experience as a therapist in private practice into her sessions. She was previously employed as a school social worker with Chippewa Valley Schools, where she gained an understanding of the needs of special education students and guides families through the IEP process; she has been involved in crisis intervention on an individual, school and district level. Previously, as a psychiatric social worker she worked to stabilize patients and clients, providing the necessary emotional intervention and support for positive growth. Her work as a psychotherapist has deepened her commitment to promoting healthy adjustment, transition, and understanding.

Diana R. Conklin is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  Diana worked as a school counselor for L’Anse Creuse Public School beginning in 1990 until her retirement in 2018.  During that time she began working in a private practice setting and has expanded her expertise to address a variety of issues that we are challenged with as individuals, couples and families.  Diana is known for her in depth work with adolescents and young adults, as well as adults and families.  Diana specializes in anxiety, depression  and suicide intervention.  Since the loss of her brother to suicide over 20 years ago, Diana has honored his memory through her practice and in the community in the prevention of suicide.  Her personal experience along with specialized training gives her a unique perspective in working with those in suicidal crisis. Elizabeth Ignace, LMSW

Elizabeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Wayne State University. Elizabeth has specialized training in trauma therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, for treatment of PTSD and other trauma and stressor related disorders. Elizabeth has experience treating first responders and currently serves as the Clinical Director of the Macomb County Sheriff Department’s CISM Team. Elizabeth also has extensive training in domestic violence and is the lead facilitator of the Macomb Batterers’ Intervention Program which provides group services for domestic violence offenders. Elizabeth is a member in good standing with the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Elizabeth has a down to earth style and adheres to the belief that every person is worthy of human dignity and respect regardless of their past behaviors or current difficulties, so therapy is a “no-judgment zone”. Abbie Jankelovitz is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) and a member of the American Counseling Association.  She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Health and Wellness.  She achieved her Master Degree from Oakland University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. 

Abbie has worked primarily in a clinical environment with clients of all ages and has specific experience with teens and young adults.  She focuses on clients dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse and addiction and relationship issues.  In addition, she has received extensive training in the treatment of eating disorders. Jen earned her Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University. She has worked in various roles in the
mental health field for the past 12 years while spending the majority of her focus on youth/teen
challenges. Jen believes in supporting the mental health of individuals, promoting self-actualization, exploring the discovery of passions and character, and encouragement of strengths between parent/child relationships. Together with her clients, she will work collaboratively to outline treatment plans,

Julie Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Julie has worked as a school counselor for L’Anse Creuse Public Schools since 2006 until present. Julie is an athlete, adventurist and all around promoter of health, wellness and empowerment. Julie is known for her in depth work with adolescents and young adults, as well as adults and families. Julie specializes in anxiety, depression, grief and loss and empowerment. In her own journey, she found that launching herself into her wildest dreams of travel, adventure and sports is where she found her greatest growth in self-love, and an expansion of mindset. Julie began to help others work through their own anxiety, fixed thoughts and self esteem issues through guided adventuring and activities. She dreamed of expanding this concept to a platform to help others, especially women, learn to grow, love and support themselves and one another. In 2020, Julie started her own company called Uplift Adventure Retreats to bring her love of adventure and recreation therapy to realize this dream. Developing a therapeutic relationship built on trust and compassion is the foundation of Monica Weaver’s work.  Monica earned a Master of Arts in Social Work with honors from Wayne State University and a Bachelor degree in Zoology (Applied Biology) with a minor in Psychology from Michigan State University.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with state certification in School Social Work.  Monica is a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Michigan Association of School Social Workers (MASSW).  Monica maintains her connection with youth by working as an elementary School Social Worker for Chippewa Valley Schools and previously worked in the middle school setting as an Intervention Specialist.  She has provided reflective listening and empathetic guidance to those struggling with gender identity and sexuality issues.
